Hey guys, in this video I want to talk to you about how to take the worst month in your music teaching business and turn it around to potentially become one of your best months. At Build A Music School, we recently had our best month ever, even though August has historically been our toughest month. I want to share with you the four main steps we took to achieve this, so you can do the same for your business.
Step 1: Identify Your Worst Month
The first step is to objectively identify which month is the worst for your business. Look at factors such as income, net profit, and cash flow forecasts. Consider any trailing effects that may occur due to billing cycles or seasonal trends. By understanding your worst month, you can strategize how to turn it around.
Step 2: Build Your Best Promotion
Once you've identified your worst month, it's time to build your best promotion. Get creative and think about compelling offers that will differentiate you from other music teachers. Consider changing the price, frequency, length, and adding bonuses both musical and non-musical. Create a sense of urgency and scarcity to encourage people to take advantage of the promotion.
